JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. (“JinkoSolar” or the “Company”) (NYSE: JKS), one of the largest and most innovative PV module manufacturers in the world, today announced that it has secured 200 MW of orders from Guangdong Energy Group for its N-type technology-based Tiger Neo bifacial solar panels of 560Wp.

After its debut last November, Tiger Neo has scaled great heights with a new secured order backlog of more than 3GW for utility-scale, C&I and residential solar projects.

“With recent surge in the cost of polysilicon and logistics, we are seeing booming market demand for PV modules with higher efficiency and lower cost per watt, and an increased n-type bifacial technology acceptance,” said Dany Qian, VP of JinkoSolar. “We have one of the most advanced n-type cell technologies and high-throughput tools to capitalize on the growing market demand for higher efficiency cells, and particularly our n-type bifacial cell technologies have the best roadmap to higher efficiency and higher generation capacity (kWh per kW).

To date, JinkoSolar has supplied over 100 GW of its high-efficiency mono-crystalline solar panels around the whole world.
