KSTAR(002518.SZ)today announces that it has become the 7th largest modular UPS vendor globally and the 5th largest modular UPS vendor in Asia and Oceania by market share based on Omdia’s recent report titled: Modular UPS Market Analysis 2022.

According to the report, global modular UPS revenue totaled $1.9 billion in 2021, an increase of 12.5% over the previous year. The Asian and Oceania market accounted for 43% of the global modular UPS market. Increasing demand for data center computing and storage, and the technical advantages of modular UPS systems contributed to market growth.

“We are proud of the result highlighting the market competitiveness of Kstar products in the high-end market. Since launched its first modular series, Kstar has been continuously innovating in critical areas, such as reliability, density, efficiency and more. As data centers continue to evolve, Kstar will keep on supporting clients with a broad portfolio of cutting-edge UPS solutions.” Said Kevin Shen, Kstar’s Pre-sales Director.

Last year, Kstar launched the KLi lithium-ion battery for its HPM modular UPS systems, offering more options for data center operators interested in new battery technology for their infrastructures. This configuration provides the flexibility and scalability of the traditional HPM UPS family andextra benefits of the lithium-ion technology, including longer battery life, smaller footprint and weight, and higher power density.

In addition, Kstar is releasing 100 kW high-power-density UPS power modules to improve data center utilization and save space. This product enables a single module power density of 100kW/3U, almost doubling the industry standard.

“By combining our super high-power-density power module with KLi li-ion batteries, we can help customers save on the number of racks while improving uptime, efficiency and revenue. After all, fewer racks mean less investment and O&M cost.” Ivan, Kstar’s deputy sales director, said.
