Background
In order to solve the issue of expressway traffic congestion at borders, Chinese Government decided to replace all expressway toll booths at provincial borders with non-stop electronic toll collection (ETC) systems in a very short time.
Challenge：
To meet the target on schedule, ETC project contractor in Guangxi Province, Guangxi Investment Group Co. Ltd was requested to build nearly 100 data centers to serve the new ETC systems in just two months!
After consideration of cost and risk, they chose to deploy 98 Kstar IDU modular data centers instead of building traditional “brick-and-mortar” data centers. Kstar IDU is a space-saving, fully modularized and integrated solution, which enables fast deployment.
