Job Description:

Role Summary/Purpose 

  • Responsible for activities related to the construction, building and commissioning on customer site, from site mobilization, through civil, erection and commissioning work, as well as management activities related to this scope for Solar

Essential Responsibilities 

  • Supervisory roles onsite working under the direction of the site leadership during the various phase of a construction and installation project (e.g. civil, erection).
  • May lead others directly or indirectly and or/manage subcontractors.
  • Develops a year plan for its own department.
  • Is involved in discussions with other functions and teams about improvement in processes, procedures and ways of working.
  • Contributes to plan of larger unit.
  • Communicates across direct organization.
  • Presents to senior leaders (EB and SEB) in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy.
  • Diverse clients in a region.
  • Follows frameworks to get through the processes. .
  • There is room for negotiating and client specific conditions.

Also should have 

  • Experience in construction of AC/DC work of Solar
  • Should understand drawings and work out the BOM.
  • Planning and scheduling of resource / work to meet the target.
  • Supervision /Execution of work in line of the technical requirement/ drawing/ FQP.
  • Must have experience in erection of structure, Module , earthing, AC/DC cable laying and termination, equipment erection Transformer/Inverters/SCB.
  • Planning /organising/ testing of AC /DC equipment .
  • Preparation of measurement for Customer billing obtaining certification in time.
  • Coordination with customer and contractors to expedite the work.
  • Preparation of As-built drawing.
  • Should be able to project Material requirement well in advance and Material Reconciliation periodically.
  • Should be familiar with SCADA requirement.
  • Coordination with internal and external agency to expedite the work.
  • Should be familiar EHS requirement/ Labour- Statutory compliance.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Project Management).
  • Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Installation Leadership.
