Leading the Indian Market with Strength, SOFARSOLAR Won “Top Brand Roof Inverter” in India Again

When it comes to Indian cuisine, thoughts turn first to roti prata and curry rice. But when it comes to Indian PV market, the year 2020 made many practitioners anxious! Now that 2021 is coming, what we are more concerned about is the direction the market pointer of this large PV country will tilt.

Mr. Brijesh Prajapati, head of SOFARSOLAR India, introduced that in 2020, large-scale solar energy projects in India accounted for 78% of the total new increase, 2,520 MW, a year-on-year decrease of 60%; the amount of roof installation was 719 MW, a year-on-year decrease of 35%; solar energy capacity in Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat massively increased, accounting for about 51% of the total amount of installation in 2020; and the total number of installation in 2020 was the lowest in nearly five years in India, which would change in 2021, but two directions would remain: large-scale power stations and roof power stations.

Recently, EQ, a well-known Indian energy media, held an industry forum to especially issue certificates to leading enterprises of roof inverter in Gujarat. With its market share and extensive influence in India, SOFARSOLAR won the title of “Top Brand Roof Inverter” once again.

In 2020, with the overall downward trend of India’s PV market, SOFARSOLAR broke through the adversity and went upward in Gujarat and other regions by its continuous breakthroughs in technology and continuous innovation in products, and become the “Big Brother” in the field of inverter, not only occupying the leading position of absolute superiority, but also leading the local market to healthy competition.

SOFARSOLAR began to layout the Indian market as early as 2015 and has set up branches, storage centers, sales centers and service centers in India to provide more convenient local services for local customers. Based on the local power grid structure, PV standards, policies and market environment, SOFARSOLAR has formulated a series of market and product R & D strategies, seizing the opportunity to enter the market and emerging unexpectedly. It has provided inverters to local government power stations, farm power stations, industrial and commercial power stations and family power stations. According to statistics, SOFARSOLAR has shipped 600 MW in the Indian market, leading the market in Gujarat and other regions.

Mr. Brijesh Prajapati said that since 2015, SOFARSOLAR has been awarded as “Best Inverter Company in India” and “Top Brand Roof Inverter” by many well-known Indian institutions. Today, SOFARSOLAR has become a household inverter brand in India. In the future, SOFARSOLAR will continue to play our core competitiveness in the Indian market, and promote and use more PV storage products in India, so that more users can enjoy the economic benefits of clean energy.
