MEA with EXIM Bank pitch in for solar projects

Chennai: The Ministry of External Affairs in collaboration with the Export-Import (EXIM) Bank of India organised a business outreach programme for solar projects under the Government of India’s (GoI) Lines of Credit (LoCs) was held here on Monday.
The event was held with the objective to create awareness among the companies in the solar sector, especially in South India, about the numerous opportunities that could be availed via government’s ‘Lines of Credit’ initiative.
Ministry of External Affairs, Economic Relations, Secretary TS Tirumurti in his address to the audience, talked about the GoI’s Development Partnership, which he remarked was a key aspect of the India’s foreign Policy.
