New Delhi : State-owned power producer NTPC has commissioned the 296 MW Fatehgarh Solar Project in Jaisalmer at full capacity. The company made this announcement after commissioning the fifth section of the project with a capacity of 48.8 MW.

“With the successful commissioning of the fifth section of the 296 MW project at Jaisalmer, the 48.8 MW section, the commercial operation of the Fatehgarh Solar PV Project has commenced at 12 midnight on August 5,” NTPC said in a stock exchange briefing. The company has issued another regulatory

The company said in another regulatory notice that the 250 MW Kolayat, Bikaner (Shambu ki Burj-1) solar PV project at Bikaner, Rajasthan has started commercial operation with full capacity.

With this, the installed and commercial capacity of NTPC on a standalone basis will be 55,068 MW, while the total installed and commercial capacity of the group will reach 69,433 MW.
