Job Summary:

As a part of our continued growth, Targray requires the services of a Sales Executive | Battery & Energy Storage , to help expand our Battery team based out of our India Office in Gurgaon, Haryana.(NCR).

Responsibilities:

  • Sell to the North American and European Li-Ion Battery markets.
  • Respond to all web queries, including sending specification sheets and preparing customer quotations
  • Research new sales leads
  • Follow up with previous customers by email and phone
  • Keep track of customer sample test results for suppliers
  • Maintain customer spreadsheets
  • Coordinate diligently with the Canadian Sales Team
  • Work closely with the customer service and logistics departments in India
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge:
  • Attend trade seminars
  • Participate in trade shows
  • Review professional publications

Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive with a track record of proven success in sales and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be someone who wants to make a long-term commitment to join a growing, dynamic group of people. You will be responsible for providing an exceptional level of service to our customers and suppliers. 

  • 3-5 years sales experience (Li-Ion Battery sales experience preferred but not required)
  • Fluency in English – both oral and written is required.
  • University degree (Business degree preferred but not required)
  • Interest in science / chemistry
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required.

Call Center experience is NOT considered relevant or appropriate for this position.

No prior knowledge of the Lithium Ion Battery industry is required. We provide full training.
