Sterling and Wilson appoints Raghu Menon as CEO of its COGEN business

Menon is a graduate in mechanical engineering from Pune University and holds a diploma in marketing management from Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai.

New Delhi: Sterling and Wilson (SW), EPC company and part of Shapoorji Pallonji Group, on Thursday appointed Raghu Menon as the chief executive officer (CEO) of its COGEN business. He will be responsible for business development, market growth and the P&L for the business.

He has been with the company as a chief operating officer since 2018.

“I am glad for the role given to me to lead the business, and I will endeavor to drive the company’s vision of power generation through efficient technologies and customized solutions. We will work as a cohesive and collaborative team with the sole aim of delivering solutions that are customer centric and lead to customer delight,” said Menon.

He has more than two decades of experience across industrial products and turnkey solutions and has worked with Global MNCs at the P&L role and in various functions of technology, M&A, business development, product development, overseas market penetration, vendor development, and operations management.

Menon is a graduate in mechanical engineering from Pune University and holds a diploma in marketing management from Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai.

SWCOGEN has over 1,800 megawatt of power plants execution experience across India, Italy, US, UK, UAE, Romania, Poland, Nigeria and Oceania region.
