The modules will be installed at Clean Solar Power’s ground-mounted solar power project.

Germany-based solar energy company Talesun Solar has signed an agreement with Indian firm Clean Solar Power (Bhainsada) Private to deliver 250MW worth of photovoltaic (PV) modules.

Under the terms of the agreement, Talesun Solar will supply its BIPRO series bifacial modules, which are based on ten-busbar half-cut cell technology.

These modules will be installed at Clean Solar Power’s ground-mounted solar power project located in the Indian state of Rajasthan.

Talesun Solar claims that the modules have the capacity to increase power generation efficiency by between 5% and 25%.

Talesun Solar president Shuguang Dong said: “India is one of the world’s fastest-growing and most dynamic emerging solar markets.

“The collaboration with Clean Solar Power demonstrates Talesun Solar’s strong presence in the market while helping increase market share and brand awareness in 2022 by laying a solid foundation for further expansion in India and other markets across the region.”

According to data from the Central Electricity Authority of India, the country’s installed renewable energy power generation capacity has reached 151.4GW, including 49.3GW of installed solar PV capacity, as of 31 December 2021.

Going forward, Talesun Solar plans to further expand its presence in the Indian market by supplying its products and services and supporting the nation’s transition to environmentally responsible energy solutions.

Established in 2010, Talesun Solar is a wholly owned subsidiary of Zhongli Group and claims to be one of China’s largest PV power station developers.

The company operates production sites in China and Thailand among other locations.

In July 2020, it agreed to deliver a 108MW PV module shipment to Poland-based Alledo Parts, the largest distributor of solar PV products in Poland.

The shipment of 159,090 440W modules was ordered for a solar park with 70MW of capacity.
