Tata Power Solar Systems Limited has won the ‘Top Rooftop Installer/ EPC Company of the Year 2020-21’ award at EQ E-Award Show May 2021. Powered by EQ iSearch, EQ organized the award show for the solar industry of India based on the achievements of the year 2020-21.
Nalin Gupta, Head- Channel Programs & Growth Initiatives, Tata Power Solar, accepted the award on behalf of all his colleagues and channel partner ecosystem. “Thanks, EQ for recognizing the good work TATA Power has been doing in the solar rooftop space. I think this award is a testimony to the good work that has been done by the team number last year. It has been a tough year for everyone.
TATA has always been into nation-building. While rooftop, definitely there is a business objective also, but there is a great amount of satisfaction from adding value to people’s lives, providing solutions that can bring a greater degree of comfort or convenience to them.
It has been very fulfilling. I express a deep amount of gratitude to all the stakeholders in the rooftop category ecosystem for the good work that is being done by everybody on establishing the category.
As compared to developed countries, there is still a lot of scope for growth and development, and I think everybody in the category playing an active role needs to be applauded for the good development that the rooftop category is seeing in India.
For that, I would like to compliment a lot of the colleagues who have joined from different countries. It is a great opportunity for us to add value to people’s lives. We are deeply committed to the rooftop business both at Tata Group and Tata Power level and definitely within the rooftop business at Tata Power level. We will continue to strive to do good work and keep moving the category forward.”
