Tirupati: Temple city Tirupati will get new look with smart city project which includes development of parks, smart streets, e-learning, e-health project for children studying in municipal schools, LED street lights, setting up solar panels for utilising solar power etc , said District Collector Pradyumna and he emphasised on speedy completion of the development works proposed under project.
In a review meeting on Smart City project held at Municipal Corporation Office here on Friday after inspecting ongoing works at parks and at schools where solar panels to be set up, he suggested the officials to add latest technology in completion of development works to much pleasure to the denizens of the city.
Giving instructions to the concerned civic officials on completion of smart city project, Pradyumna wanted them to upload details of case sheet of ill health students of municipal schools as part of e-health project and also asked them to teach students different six topics for six days in a week as part of e-learning.
Emphasising on teaching cleanliness, social service, health consciousness and integrity to students, he sought the education department officials to adopt new teaching topics along with their routine curricular subjects.
He directed the officials to complete smart city development works on paced manner which allow the people to realize the amazing development of the city.
