The world’s top uranium miner Kazatomprom (LSE: KAP) today announced an auction for the sale of 100% of its shares in the authorized capital of KazSilicon, Astana Solar and Kazakhstan Solar Silicon.

The alternative energy assets were classified as held for sale as at 31 December 2019, as Kazatomprom was planning to focus on its core business segments, uranium production and nuclear fuel cycle.
