Tripura Regulator determines levelised tariff at Rs. 3.31 /kwh for a period of 25 years
In the Matter Of: Petition for determination of prefixed levelised tariff for purchase of Solar Power by Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited from decentralized Solar Power Plants and other Renewable Energy Generating Plant of Farmer / Developer having capacity of 500 kw to 2000 kw in the vicinity of Rural grid Sub-Station under Component-A of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evem Utthaan Mahabhiyan ( PM KUSUM ) Scheme introduced by Government of India .
Commission’s Order :
1 . The Commission, in the present Order, is carrying out the work for determination of levelised tariff for purchase of power by DISCOM from decentralized Solar Plants having capacity of 500 kw to 2000 kw to be set up by individual Farmers/group of Farmers/ Cooperatives / Panchayat/Farmer Producer Organizations (FPO) / water User Associations (WUA) in the vicinity of rural Grid Sub-Stations under Component-A of PM KUSUM Scheme introduced by the Govt. of India .
2. The all other Terms and Condition of the said Scheme Shall be applicable as per MNRE guidelines and considering above all the Commission determines levelised tariff at Rs. 3.31 /kwh for a period of 25 years.
3. The DISCOM has to make wide publicity through Print, Electronic and Social Media in local 2 nos languages( Bengali & Kokborok) regarding the scheme to get the maximum benefit by the Farmers.
