Hydro Power Plant Project in Ecuador Obtains $11.5M Funding Agreement from Capital Corp Merchant Banking
The $11.5 million hydro power project consists of the construction of a hydro power plant that will have an output of 5.5MW and will be developed in the northern part of Ecuador. The government provides tax incentives for such projects to encourage the further development of clean energy projects.Capital Corp Merchant Banking has been much involved in the financing of renewable energy projects over the last 15 years, recognizing the importance of clean energy sources and taking particular interest in these types of projects around the world.
The funding structure Capital Corp Merchant Banking has devised consists of providing its client with US$3.5M in common stock, US$8M in debenture.
