Vizianagaram: Society believes that the students coming from rural areas are not wise and they cannot compete with the students of cities and towns. But the government of Andhra Pradesh is going to undertake a project to make some schools in the state as model schools and mould the students to compete with the students of corporate schools.

For this, the department of education has directed all the district educational officers to select Zilla Parishad high school from each revenue division and send the proposals to the commissionerates. As per the estimation, around 51 schools will be selected from 51 revenue divisions of Andhra Pradesh.

All these schools will be developed on all aspects and will be provided every facility available in corporate schools. Now, the students of these schools will be taught by the experienced and committed teachers and they will be trained to compete with the students of corporate schools and convents. Now the students and their parents need not worry about the broken flooring, seeping roofs, faded black boards, narrow and suffocated classrooms.

As per the instructions given by the government, the district administration has selected the high schools in Ramabhdrapuram and Cheepurupalli as the both schools have good number of students.

The schools have 1,100 number of students in each. Speaking to The Hans India, Vizianagaram DEO GNagamanistated that the government has directed us to send proposals to convert the ZP high schools as model schools and as per the note, they had selected Cheepurupalli and Ramabhdrapurm high schools.
