2022 TVS iQube was introduced in three variants, with 10 color options and a host of technological features.

TVS Motor Company launched its long-awaited updated version of the iQube electric scooter on Wednesday. The 2022 TVS iQube electric scooter is available, introducing a host of changes from the outgoing model. These include a better range, more variants, more colors and more technological features. As the two-wheeler major has opened reservations for the 2022 TVS iQube electric scooter, here are the five key facts you need to know about this model.

TVS iQube Awards 2022

The 2022 TVS iQube electric scooter is priced at ₹98,654 in Delhi and ₹111 663 in Bangalore, while the iQube S is available at ₹108,690 in Delhi and ₹119 663 in Bangalore (All prices, by road). The iQube ST price has not yet been announced, but it is already available for reservation for the amount of ₹999.

Three variants

The 2022 TVS iQube electric scooter is available in three different variants. These are – iQube, iQube S and iQube ST. Each of these three variants of electric scooters offers different levels of range and functionality.

New colors

2022 TVS iQube was introduced with ten different color options, compared to the outgoing model’s solo white color theme. The new color themes available are – Shining Red, Titanium Grey, Mercury Grey, Copper Bronze, Mint Blue, Corporate Bronze, Lucid Yellow, Starlight Blue, Coral Sand, Copper Bronze Matte and Titanium Gray Matte. The ST variant is available in Starlight Blue, Coral Sand, Copper Bronze Matte and Titanium Gray Matte. The S variant, on the other hand, comes in Mercury Grey, Copper Bronze, Mint Blue and Lucid Yellow color options.

Three charging options

TVS says the new iQube electric scooter requires two charges per week for regular trips in and around town, which will incur a running cost of ₹3 per day per owner. The two-wheeler manufacturer offers three different charging options for the iQube electric scooter, namely: a 650 W charger, a 95 W charger and a 1.5 kWh charger. The iQube ST battery can be charged up to 80% in five hours using a standard charger. TVS claims it takes about seven hours to fully charge.

Improved range and top speed

TVS claims that the iQube and iQube S are claimed to deliver a range of 100 km in real world conditions on a full charge. The iQube ST, on the other hand, is said to offer a range of 140 km on a single charge. Both the TVS iQube 2022 and the iQube S are capable of a top speed of 78 km/h and both of these variants can accelerate from 0-40 km/h in 4.2 seconds. The ST variant, on the other hand, is capable of driving at a maximum speed of 82 km/h.
