Job description:
Phelan Energy Group seeks an experienced Asset Manager: India who will be responsible for oversight of solar plants, their performance and optimisation.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with project stakeholders on all activities related to solar asset management, developing, and maintaining positive constructive relationships;
- Contract management, filing and monitoring of key project documents including all relevant contracts, funding agreements and interconnection agreements;
- Responsible for creation and review of monthly operating reports with respect to compliance, contract requirements, lenders financial model and performance;
- Evaluate, interpret, and understand PV plant performance data to note operational issues and propose solutions and improvements.
- Monitor and influence all maintenance and operations and maintenance activities for the assets by maintaining logs of operational issues and their resolution;
- Maximise the total returns for each asset through the analysis of system efficiency and identifying opportunities for improved performance;
- Collaborate with development and construction teams on plant design optimization for future projects;
- Aid in due diligence process, including review of financial and operational assumptions; and
- Feedback to Engineering / Projects / Mancom based on plant’s audit / visits
Skills and Requirements
- Based in New Delhi;
- Available travel to various international project sites;
- Minimum 4 years relevant work experience in the renewables industry, and at a management level;
- Experienced in managing minimum 150MW ;
- The candidate must be proficient in English;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Team player; and
- Self-disciplined with good organization abilities.
