Chandigarh: The Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) has planned to implement grid connect rooftop solar PV projects on the roofs of its buildings/offices, ground mounted and floating solar PV plant, as part of its contribution to renewable energy initiatives of the Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
Union Power Ministry Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Tuesday inaugurated the Grid Connected Rooftop Solar PV Plant of 80kWp capacity at 220kV Substation BBMB, Delhi and of 20kWp capacity at 220kV sub-station BBMB,Narela.
Both these plants are estimated to generate 1.60 lakh units of energy per annum, a BBMB statement said here.
