I think its become a regular feature in the solar industry that every bid that looks very aggressive, starts looking so good as soon as some new bid happens in 1-2 Months Time. What is it that is driving the prices so low in every month ? Well I am curious. RUMS 750 MW Project bid at LCOE Rs.3.3/kWh was called aggressive by Mahindra, Acme and Actis and immediately after that the Kudappa Bid by SolaireDirect (Engie) at 3.15 was slightly more aggressive…..NAH….So Look at the Bhadla Solar Park Bid that happened today at May 09, 2017, Can you believe it, 2.62 solar tariffs have touched by Phelan and Avaada and SBG at 2.63. The aggressive bids at RUMS and Kudappa looks so good now. Enjoy looking at the bid Results and do share your feedback. SECI Wind Bid at Rs.3.46 made me fealt that wind is back in the game in terms of cost competitiveness, but that time i was comparing Wind Bid to RUMS Bid, but the Bhadla bid has drawn again a big line between wind and solar tariffs in India.

Curious what is technology roadmap and pricing roadmap looks like for the Solar Industry ? Do Join us at our upcoming Conference and learn about the wonders technology is doing to bring solar power costs at such levels.
