As confirmed earlier, BYD will be bringing the Atto 3 to India and no we have a date. The new SUV will make its debut in India on October 11 and will be the latest EV on the Indian market.

BYD Atto 3: Design And Range

Compared to its close all-electric competitors, the BYD Atto 3 will be a little bit bigger. Although the BYD SUV is almost as long as the Hyundai Alcazar (4.5 meters), it is most likely only available in a five-seat configuration.

The Atto 3 provides a range of 410 km to 480 km from its Blade battery pack and will be available in Standard Range and Extended Range versions abroad. In comparison to conventional battery designs, its revolutionary LFP cell-based battery packs offer increased resilience to flames from puncturing. Additionally, they are lightweight; the basic and extended range models only differ in weight by 70 kg.

BYD Atto 3: Powertrain

A permanent magnet synchronous electric motor that produces 204 PS and 310 Nm powers the BYD Atto 3. These figures will enable the Atto 3 to reach 100 Kph in only 7.3 seconds from a complete stop. The electric motor has a high energy efficiency rating of 89 percent.

BYD Atto 3: Interior And Feature

The Atto 3 has a ton of features within. The dashboard features a big 12.8-inch touchscreen multimedia display that can be tilted, and the spacious, panoramic sunroof makes the inside of the electric SUV feel fairly airy. Other notable features include an 8-speaker sound system, wireless phone charger, USB Type-C charging, 5-inch digital instrument cluster, steering-mounted controls, compatibility for Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.

BYD Atto 3: Competitors

The BYD Atto 3 will be brought in as a complete knock-down kit (CKD) that will be locally assembled.

With its E6 electric MPV, Build Your Dreams (BYD) has been operating in the B2B category and is now offering sales to individual automobile consumers as well. The Atto 3 is anticipated to cost Rs. 30 lakh and will compete with the Hyundai Kona and MG ZS EV electric SUVs in the Indian market.
