Generate business leads and prospects for Rooftop Solar Projects on commercial, industrial and residential scale, in that order.
Develop and implement a scalable sales strategy with quarterly growth expectations, and pursue sourcing of customer orders in line with the sale strategy.
Prepare revenue forecast and implement strategies to achieve sales, revenue, profit, and market-share objectives of the company and deliver on annual and quarterly sales/revenue/profit plans.
Ensure collaboration with internal teams to prepare BOQs and share competitive quotes to potential customers.
Ensure prompt follow-up with customers for orders, commercial terms, payments, approvals, problem resolution etc.
Setup critical meetings between customers and higher management of the company to ensure conversion of quotations into sale orders.
Work with partners, vendors, company’s engineers and project managers to ensure customer’s needs are met.
Manage the sales process for tenders as well as direct sales, analyse margins as well as reasons for lost orders.
Lead creative efforts such as writing, designing, managing and updating marketing collateral including presentations, datasheets etc. and organize distribution of the same.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Networking and relationship management with clients.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong working knowledge of Solar PV technology and System Integration for Solar Power Plants.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering from a reputed institute.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in managing solar sales.
