DHL Supply Chain Singapore partners with Sembcorp Energy Singapore in the installation of its first solar panels on the rooftops of its warehouse facilities at 81 ALPS Avenue. This solar initiative exemplifies its commitment to the DPDHL’s Environment, Social, and Governance agenda to operate all its facilities at Net Zero Carbon by 2025.

Eunis Hew, Managing Director, Singapore, DHL Supply Chain said “We are very proud of the successful implementation of our first solar panel project in Singapore. This initiative is part of our continuous effort in creating a greener supply chain as we continue to invest in environmentally-friendly initiatives that reflect our sustainable strategies to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. We look forward to executing our business strategy in a more sustainable way and installing more solar panels in all our warehouse facilities.”

As the world’s leading logistics company, DPDHL is committed to being the global leader in creating a sustainable future for all. The groundbreaking solar panel installation is the first of its kind in the country and DHL Supply Chain Singapore is already working on their second project at their Advanced Regional Centre warehouse facilities at 1 Greenwich Drive.

“We are pleased to be DHL’s green energy partner, having successfully installed their first solar PV system in Singapore. As we witness an ever-growing pool of businesses wanting to play a part in reducing their carbon footprint, we stand ready in helping to enable their efforts in this.

Our proven track record in rooftop photovoltaic solutions, strong focus on quality, and swift project delivery – these are just some of the factors why companies trust us as one of Singapore’s leading solar power players,” said Jen Tan, Head of Integrated Solutions (Singapore & Southeast Asia), Sembcorp Industries.
