Kyaukpadaung: Arrangements are being made to distribute solar power to four villages in Kyaukpadaung Township,Mandalay Region.

The Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation is undertaking rural electrification around the nation. Of which the installation of solar panels in four villages in the township is being undertaken by Earth Renewable Co.Ltd under the supervision of officials from Township Department of Rural Development.

The installation of solar panels in three villages will be completed today and one remaining village will be undertaken in the next day. The four villages will be provided with 157 pairs of solar panels with 60 W, one pair for Basic Education Primary School, one for BEMS, three pairs for religious building and 23 lamp posts.
