Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC) has announced its order in the matter of Aarvee Denims Exports Limited. Aarvee Denims Exports Limited had filed a Petition to GERC in the matter of wind power policy, 2007, Gujarat Wind Solar Hybrid Power Policy, 2018 and Section 86(1), (c), (e) and (f) of the Electricity ACT, 2003.

The commission heard the matter through video conference due to the COVID pandemic and declared its verdict on May 3, 2021. GERC noted that the Petitioner has filed the present application in the Petition for withdrawal of the Petition unconditionally.

The respondents of the matter were issued a notice regarding this after the commission received this application. The official notification states that Learned Advocate Shri Vedant Rajguru submitted that the Petitioner wants the withdrawal of the Petition unconditionally.

The commission stated that the respondents submitted no objection to the withdrawal of the petition. After hearing from both parties, GERC granted this application for withdrawal of Petition unconditionally and the Petition stands disposed.
