GOLDBECK SOLAR acquires GP JOULE PV North America – EQ Mag Pro

GOLDBECK SOLAR Group and the GP JOULE Group announce that GOLDBECK SOLAR has taken over the North American PV-EPC branch of GP JOULE and is now the sole shareholder of the two North American companies GP JOULE PV Canada corp and GP JOULE PV USA Inc. is.

With this acquisition, GOLDBECK SOLAR is expanding its position on the American continent to complement the teams in Chile and Mexico.

The purchase includes taking over the entire GP JOULE EPC NA team and using the local brand for a limited period of time. “Our new local team and their expertise are the basis for this strategic step. They understand the culture and the peculiarities of the market, and with the resulting synergies we will be able to improve what we offer to customers,” says Joachim Goldbeck, CEO of the GOLDBECK SOLAR Group. “With our new colleagues, we have a solid foundation to master the opportunities and challenges of the North American market. A culture fit was also a requirement, and now we look forward to growing together in Canada and the US in the future.”

Stronger growth planned in North America

“The takeover is the next step in GOLDBECK SOLAR’s growth strategy.

After investing in a portfolio of projects in Canada at the beginning of the year, we want to develop and build more solar systems in North America over the next three years,” says Constantin Lindenmeyer, Head of Business Development and Strategy at GOLDBECK SOLAR.
