AK Tripathi, Director General (National Institute of Solar Energy), part of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India visited CRISP Bhopal and interacted with the 50 beneficiaries of Solar PV Installer (Suryamitra) training programme.

During his address to participants, Tripathi informed that 100 GW solar power capacity are to be installed and commissioned till 2022. Till date approximately 25 GW has been commissioned. In order to achieve this, Ministry (MNRE) has set a target to prepare 50,000 trained manpower skilled in installation, commissioning and operation and maintenance in the field of solar energy through Suryamitra skill Training.

Tripathi motivated the participants to utilise time on mobile phones to learn new technology and remain updated with the latest happenings in the field of solar energy. He expressed his happiness on the successful completion of training programme and placement of participants, also encouraged them to join immediately and take the experiences. Anoop Garg, Joint Director, MP Urja Vikas Nigam has highlighted achievement‘s in Solar electricity in MP.

Rajesh Maheshwari (CMO) expressed thanks for entrusting these training programmes to CRISP for the last three years, Sudheer Jain and other senior officers also attended the interactive session. Asha Nair, RS Sharma, Annapurna Tiwari and Santosh Vishwakarma were present.
