Heritage Foods has commissioned 3rd Wind Power Plant of 2.1 MW capacity at Belugruppa, Andhra Pradesh for captive consumption.

Heritage Foods has commissioned 3rd Wind Power Plant of 2.1 MW capacity at Belugruppa, Andhra Pradesh for captive consumption. This is higher capacity Wind Electrics Generator (WEG) and the plant is expected to generate 5.5 million units of elect power per annum.

As a forward-looking enterprise, the company is strongly committed to extending the ‘Green’ footprint. In line with this thinking, renewable energy (RE) capacity is crossed 10MW, which is a significant milestone for the company.

Heritage Foods Ltd is currently trading at Rs 1450, up by Rs 24.8 or 1.74% from its previous closing of Rs 1425.2 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs 1436.1 and has touched a high and low of Rs 1457.15 and Rs 1430.4 respectively. The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
