In Short : Husk Power Systems has launched BEEM, a residential rooftop solar service aimed at powering 10 million Indian homes by 2027. Aligned with the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, BEEM offers AI-powered energy assessment, low-cost financing, and support for government subsidies. Initially targeting Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra, it aims to make solar power more accessible nationwide.

In Detail : India’s dream of powering 10 million homes with solar energy just got a boost. Husk Power Systems has launched BEEM, a new residential rooftop solar brand, to support the Government’s PM Surya Ghar Yojana. Backed by 16 years of solar expertise, BEEM aims to make going solar easy, fast, and affordable for every homeowner.

Husk Power supporting India’s solar mission

BEEM was created to help scale the PM Surya Ghar Yojana initiative, which targets 30 GW of solar power across 10 million households by 2027. The plan promises low-interest loans, up to 300 kWh per month of free power, and fast 15-day subsidy disbursements.

However, many homeowners still struggle with high costs, unclear product choices, and unreliable providers. BEEM aims to close this gap.

“PM Surya Ghar Yojana’s subsidy, low-cost loans and 15-day simplified application process have created massive tailwinds for residential solar growth in India, but the industry remains slow-moving, fragmented, unstructured and mismatched to homeowners’ needs,” said Anubha Shukla, Husk’s Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and head of BEEM.

One-stop, AI-powered solar solutions

BEEM offers digital, AI-enabled services that simplify the entire solar installation journey from system sizing to booking, all done online. With premium products like Aura and Eternia, designed for India’s flat rooftops, homeowners get quality solutions plus financing, net metering, and lifetime service support.

“BEEM’s AI-powered digital platform simplifies the entire homeowner journey for going solar, the same way the iPhone transformed mobile commerce 15 years ago,” said Husk CEO and Co-Founder Manoj Sinha.

Rolling out across key states

BEEM is first targeting Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra, with plans to expand nationwide. By combining innovation, affordability, and ease, BEEM is set to accelerate India’s solar journey at scale.
