Larsen & Toubro Limited receives the ‘Solar Tracker Project of the Year’ award at EQ E-Award Show May 2021. Powered by EQ iSearch, the award function was conducted for the solar industry of India based on the achievements of the year 2020-21.
EQ organized the India Solar Awards 2021 through virtual mode on May 26 at IST 04:00 PM.
Satish Velu, Business Development Manager, Larsen & Toubro, accepted the award thanking EQ. “It is really important to recognize the efforts taken by various companies and individuals to make this market more sustainable. L&T has always tried to be at the forefront of innovation and then take pioneering steps to promote new technologies.
There will be more projects coming up in the future. L&T is equipped for expertise and knowledge of this market,” he said. The company won this award for the 1 MW Bifacial Solar Tracker Project in Tamil Nadu.
The project is amongst the MW Scale Bifacial tracker projects commissioned and operational in India.
This project is with L&T’s in-house single-axis tracker specially designed for Bifacial to maximize the backside generation. L&T is the only Tier-1 EPC Company in India with its in-house tracker solutions.
Bifacial tracker is going to be the next game-changer in the Indian Solar market. L&T also won the ‘Solar Floating Project of the year’ award at the event.
