Grid Solar Power Division of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, MNRE has issued a clarification on applicability and implementation of ALMM Order.
The Ministry received representations seeking clarifications on certain aspects of ALMM Order, 2019.
According to paragraph 3 of the order, only the models and manufacturers included in the list will be eligible for use government, projects under government schemes, government assisted projects and programs and projects set up for scale of electricity to government.
The term ‘Government includes Central Government, State Government, Central Public Sector Enterprises, State Public Sector Enterprises and Central and State Organization.
ALMM order will be applicable on all bids whose last date of submission is on or after April 10, 2021. The ministry further clarified, “The modules procured for projects, on which ALMM Order is applicable, should have been included in the ALMM List-I valid on the date of invoicing of such modules.”
