Shenzhen : SOFAR, the global leading provider of PV & ESS solutions, was recently visited by PVO International Commercial Director Hans Ekelmansand Procurement Manager Erwin Damenat the company’sbrand-new manufacturing base in Huizhou.

The first phase of SOFAR latest smart and digital factory covers an area of over 110 thousand square meters, with a total investment of nearly CNY 800 million. After being put into full operation, the annual manufacturing capacity of solar and storage products is expected to add more than over 1 million units. The new factory is a colossal complex that boasts cutting-edge technologies in robotization and automation. It is explicitly designed to manufacturein the most efficient way and features optimized solutions in labor engineering.

Erwin Damen later made remarks in his blog. He’s convinced that quality control is top priority for SOFAR, and all inverters undergo a rigorous and comprehensive 3×100% check before leaving the factory. First, every new inverter undergoes a diagnostic machine check, ensuring that all components are properly connected. Then, the inverters are tested to see how they function practical situations. Finally, each inverter undergoes another diagnostic test before leaving the factory. SOFAR’s quality checks ensure that expected failure rate after installation is reduced to an absolute minimum, giving customers a hassle-free energy solution.

During the visit, PVO International was impressed by the streamlined production procedure, the professional and well-trained employees, and the fully motivated management team.At the recently concluded Intersolar 2023, SOFAR and PVO International signed a 500MW MoU. Under this agreement, both parties will work together to bring forthall-scenariosolar and storage solutions for customers worldwide.
