Rooftop solar power to fetch more money – EQ Mag

Jaipur: After continuing opposition, Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission (RERC) has circulated a draft proposal to increase the rates for excess power that rooftop projects inject to the grid. Currently, the discoms are paying Rs 2.14 paise a unit for excess rooftop power. In the draft, RERC proposed to increase it to the level of the last bidding rates of a large-scale project with additional 15%.
