Manipur has been awarded the first prize among the North Eastern States for maximum use of solar power packs. Senapati and Churachandpur were placed joint among all the districts of the North Eastern States in terms of using solar power packs. The awards were distributed today at India Habitat Centre, Delhi at the function organised by the Ministry of New Renewable Energy. The awards were received by MANIREDA Director L Manglem on behalf of the State.
