17 Assam Rifles of 10 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) distributed five solar street lights to the villagers of Laushing. Ukhrul district on December 13.
Major General Virendra Singh, Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) handed over the Solar lights to the village headman. The humanitarian service of 17 Assam Rifles was lauded by the village headman.
