The World’s Second Panda Power Plant Landed in Guigang, Guangxi

(October 9 2017, Hong Kong) The global leading eco-development solutions provider – Panda Green Energy Group Limited (00686.HK, “Panda Green Energy”) announced that the world’s second Panda Power Plant successfully landed in Guigang, Guangxi Province, expanding Panda Green Energy’s global “Panda 100” layout. Guigang Panda Power Plant has a total installed capacity of 60 MW and has been connected to grid.

Panda Power Plant is a national project and has been listed into the “Action Plan on Jointly Promoting ‘Belt and Road’ Construction” signed by Chinese Government and the United Nations at the “Belt and Road” Forum for International Cooperation held in Beijing, May 14 2017, as one of the “Belt and Road” initiative landing projects.

On June 29, the world’s first Panda Power Plant was connected to grid in Datong, Shanxi, which is the starting point for Panda Power Plant global layout plan. In August, the United Nations together with over 20 government officials from different countries went to Datong, visited the world’s first Panda Power Plant there, and experienced in person the first realized project in the List.

Mr. Alan Li, CEO of Panda Green Energy, said, “As the expansion speeds up, except Datong and Guigang, Panda Green Energy will build more diversified Panda Power Plants in China, and welcome the “Belt and Road” countries to visit.
