Rajasthan will get two new solar parks of 1,800 MW capacity will be developed in Jaisalmer and Bikaner.
Similarly, a solar park of 925 MW capacity is being developed by Renewable Energy Corporation at Nokh in Jaisalmer district.
In the Phase-I, 800 MW solar parks will be developed in Jaisalmer by Rajasthan Vidyut Utpadan Nigam and 1,000 MW capacity in Bikaner by Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation.
Approval has been received from the Union ministry of new and renewable energy.
