Solar power producer Ujaas Energy shares rallied nearly 8 percent intraday Friday on receiving order from Indraprastha Power Generation.
“… has received an order from Indraprastha Power Generation for implementation of grid connected rooftop solar PV system of 669 Kwp,” the Indore-based company said in its filing.
Implementation of project will be done under capex model in selected GNCTD schools & schools & other government buildings in Delhi.
Ujaas has started its solar journey in 2011 by putting first solar power plant in the country under REC mechanism.
Current solar capacity in the country is close to 10 GW. It is expected that by 2022, the capacity will reach 100 GW and by 2030, 40 percent of the country power will come from renewable.
At 10:56 hours IST, the stock was quoting at Rs 35.95, up Rs 2.30, or 6.84 percent on the BSE.
