SUBMISSION OF PERFORMANCE SECURITY : 1000MW GRID CONNECTED ROOFTOP SOLAR PV SYSTEM SCHEME (500MW CAPACITY PHASE-I)
Submission of Performance Bank Guarantee by Successful Bidders/ Developers : Implementation of 1000 MW Grid Connected Roof Top Solar PV System Scheme for Government Buildings in different States / Union Territory of India under CAPEX / RESCO Model (500MW Capacity PHASE – I)
This has reference to the RfS documents (RfS No. SECI/C&P/MNRE/1000MW RT/IND/122016 dated 09.12.2016) for Implementation of 1000 MW Grid Connected Roof Top Solar PV System Scheme for Government Buildings in different States / Union Territory of India under CAPEX/ RESCO Model (500MW Capacity PHASE – I).
The Letter of Allocation (LoA) to all the successful bidders/ developers along with allocated capacity, project cost/ tariff have already been issued on 12.09.2017. In line with Provisions of Clause no. 5 of LoA, all the successful bidders/ developers were to submit the Performance Security in the form of Bank Guarantee without any penalty by 11.10.2017 and with penalty by 13.11.2017 (considering 11.11.2017 and 12.11.2017 as weekly off days).
It has been observed that SECI is still receiving Bank Guarantees through various mode of communications. All the successful bidders/ developers who wish to submit Performance Securities in the form of Bank Guarantees, are requested to submit the original copies at SECI Corporate Office latest by 28.11.2017 upto 1800 HRS. No further Bank Guarantees shall be entertained beyond 28.11.2017.
The statement is applicable for all the Bank Guarantees issued on or before 13.11.2017 only. Bank Guarantees issued after 13.11.2017 shall not be accepted at any condition.
