Deputy Speaker of State Assembly M Padma Devendar Reddy observed that industries coming up in Medak district will also boost the development of villages located in its neighbourhood.
Following the invitation of the management of Acme Fazilka solar power plant, which has a number of grids of solar power plants across the nation, the Dy Speaker took part in several programmes at B Timmaipally village of Haveli Ghanpur mandal on Saturday. This is where the Acme Fazilka Solar Power Limited is going to establish a 45-MW solar power plant.
Padma Devendar handed over Rs 57 lakh cheque to the sarpanch of the village Sunitha Srinivas on the occasion. Addressing the villagers of Timmaipally, she further speakersaid that the industrial growth of Medak district is bright as a number of industrialists are coming up to establish industries in the district since they were being given single-window permissions under TS-iPass.
Besides providing employment to thousands directly and indirectly, Padma Devendar informed the villagers that the industries will also fund the development of the villages under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Explaining the positives with solar energy, the Dy Speaker has said the State government is spending a lot of money besides burning national resources like coal to generate power. She further said, “The solar power will not only decrease the Government’s spending on power generation, but also save our invaluable national resources.”
Sunitha Srinivas assured the company that they will extend all support to the management of Acme in successfully establishing the industry on the outskirts of their village. Representatives of Acme Solar Power Plant, AVM Nethi Srinivas and AGM Harinathbabu in turn assured the sarpanch that they will provide employment opportunities to all the qualified youth from the village.
