CEB to purchase 150 MW solar power

Colombo : The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has decided to purchase 150 megawatts of electricity from solar power plants to the national grid.
The CEB chairman Vijitha Herath said the purchases would be made at as low as Rs. 10 per unit.
He states that another 150 megawatts will be purchased for the CEB before the end of this year.
