ACME has brought on board Harish Kapoor to head and lead the Corporate Affairs as Group President-Corporate Affairs. He will be responsible for further strengthening ACME’s leadership position in the Indian Solar Industry and achieving its goal to develop 7500 Mega Watt (MW) of Renewable Energy Projects by 2019. He will report to Mr. Manoj Kumar Upadhyay, Founder & Chairman, ACME Group.
He has over three decades of rich experience in the areas of relationship building and leading the Policy, Regulation & Government Affairs function for various businesses and ensuring compliance to the regulatory environment. He has extensive exposure to handle major projects & policies at different levels in various Ministries and other government bodies at state level & central level and achieve results in line with requirements of the Company. He holds excellent relationship with Corporate Houses and with Central & State Governments both at working and at decision making levels.
Prior to ACME, he had worked with Essar Group, Loop Mobile, Tata Teleservices, Bharti Airtel, etc.
He has graduated in B.Sc Hons (Physics) & LLB from Delhi University. He is widely recognized as a seasoned leader with fresh, entrepreneurial, and collaborative approach towards organizational growth and excellent Public Relations & Man Management Skills with a repertoire of contacts.
