
Setting up of solar plant in Ramagundam reviewed
Kothagudem: Chairman and Managing Director of Singareni Collieries Company Limited N Sridhar on Friday congratulated the staff of the Singareni Thermal Power Plant on getting the eighth rank after securing the highest plant load factor of 87.54 per cent among the top 25 such plants in the country. He called upon the staff to strive for improving the PLF further in order to emerge No.1 in the country.
Sridhar reviewed the setting up of the solar power plants by the company, at its office in Hyderabad after going into the project reports. During the review, officials of the Solar Energy Corporation of India, which is setting up the solar power plant, made a presentation on the 50 MW solar plant in the Ramagundam area.
Later, Sridhar held a detailed discussion on the construction and expenditure of the plant. The CMD directed the officials to take a decision after a comprehensive discussion.
Among those who attended the meeting were Chief Coordinator (power projects) L Lakshminarayana, GM (power house) Vijender, ED of STPP Sanjay Kumar Sur and Chief of O & M J N Singh, Solar Energy Corporation of India GM Y G K Reddy, GM (MP) T Nageswar Rao, GM (Finance) Narsimha Reddy and GM (STPP) Rajesh.
