The company announces successful completion of 60 MW Module supply in India during REI 2018

 NEW DELHI: On September 18th, Asia’s largest International Renewable energy exhibition – REI 2018, started in New Delhi, India. The 3 day Expo witnessed huge participation from Renewable Energy players across the globe.

As the world’s leading PV module manufacturer, Zhejiang Trunsun Solar Co., Ltd. (“Trunsun Solar”) with its 72 cells high-efficiency module appeared on the show.

As one of the global TOP 3 PV markets, India is the largest export market for PV modules in China. In 2017, China’s cumulative export volume reached 9.46GW.

In the first half of this year, the Ministry of New Energy and Renewable Energy (MNRE) announced that it will increase its renewable energy capacity target to 225 GW by 2022 and 500 GW by 2030 with 350 GW specifically towards Solar target.

During the exhibition, Trunsun Solar announced successful completion of 60 MW Module supply in India. During the Expo, Trunsun Solar received a very warm welcome and have bagged multiple other orders.

Katherine Gao, Global Sales President of Trunsun Solar, said, “This year will be a crucial year for Trunsun to explore the Indian market. Even though India is currently facing pressure from the safeguard duties, we still believe that this will be one of the most popular PV markets.
