520 MW of RE Auction with 140 MW of distributed generation photovoltaic installations: Spain – EQ Mag Pro

Quota of the first product aimed at installations of groups and subgroups b.1.2, b.3, b.4, b.5, b.6, b.7 and b.8: 380 MW of installed power.

Quota of the second product aimed at locally distributed generation photovoltaic installations of subgroup b.1.1: 140 MW of installed power.

Royal Decree 960/2020, of November 3 , which regulates the economic regime of renewable energies for electrical energy production facilities, establishes a remuneration framework for the generation of electrical energy from renewable energy sources, different to the specific remuneration regime, based on the long-term recognition of a price for energy.

In development of article 4 of Royal Decree 960/2020, of November 3 , Order TED/1161/2020, of December 4 , was approved , which regulates the first auction mechanism for the granting of the energy economic regime and the indicative calendar for the period 2020-2025 is established.

Article 4.2 of Royal Decree 960/2020, of November 3 , establishes that the auctions carried out under the aforementioned ministerial order will be convened by resolution of the head of the Secretary of State for Energy, which will be published in the “Boletín State Official”. Likewise, article 4.2 of the aforementioned order determines that certain remuneration parameters not approved in the order will be established in said resolution.

By virtue of the foregoing, the Resolution of July 18, 2022 , of the Secretary of State for Energy, convenes the third auction for the granting of the renewable energy economic regime under the provisions of the order TED/1161/2020, of December 4.
