Job Description:
The Commercial Sales Manager will be responsible for developing pipeline and achieving aquarterly bookings targets of rooftop solar projects. We are interested in individuals with an aptitude for and interest in consultative selling in a rapidly growing, competitive, and dynamic marketplace. Candidates must have a strong understanding of large-scale, complex, and technical sales solar experience and/or related energy background required. Understanding of and experience working with public sector markets is highly valued, but also not required.

Your Mission : Deployment of solar assets for commercial establishments

Responsibilities

– Seek out, activate and develop new sales opportunities in existing markets

– Identify potential business using your network to generate sales and partnerships pipeline

– Sales of commercial-scale (100 kW+) solar PV systems to public sector and commercial customers

– Working closely with 8Minutes team of project managers to prepare and develop proposals, feasibility studies, and responses to RFPs

– Presenting to high-level decisions makers and key stakeholders at government and commercial customers

– Conducting site evaluations for potential customers

– Maintaining and expanding existing client relationships

– Contract negotiations

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification

– Minimum of 3 years of successful B2B, complex sales experience required

Solar PV experience and knowledge preferred

– Demonstrated consultative selling experience

– Proven ability to manage projects under deadline with multiple internal resources

– Experience managing or selling to multiple stakeholders on the customer side

– Ability to quickly learn the technical aspects of solar PV systems required

– Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

– Understanding and presenting financial analysis to customers (ROI, IRR, NPV, APR, etc.)

PG:MBA/PGDM – Any Specialization
