An inventor from Temple City, Calif., is concerned about the efficiency of alternative vehicles that run solely on batteries or use a combination of battery and fuel. “I want to help solve the climate-change problem by encouraging more use of electric and hybrid vehicles,” he said, “so I’ve come up with a better way to charge these vehicles’ batteries.”
