Sustainable Sàrl (SUSI), a subsidiary of SUSI Partners AG, has signed a framework agreement with Spain’s independent Energy Service Company (ESCO), Grupo Enertika (Enertika) over the financing of their energy efficiency projects in Spain. Under the agreement, the SUSI Energy Efficiency Fund (SEEF) will finance Enertika’s energy efficiency projects through an ongoing receivables purchase facility. Together they look to structure a total project value of 15 million euro until end of June 2018.Enertika is the leading ESCO in Spain, providing best-in-class technology solutions in energy efficiency, energy management and distributed power generation to corporate and public sector clients. The company is known to combine innovation, engineering and financing to deliver projects that generate value for clients and investors.

SUSI will structure and finance Enertika’s operational energy efficiency projects as well as projects which are currently in their pipeline through the SEEF. The SEEF is the largest private investment vehicle financing energy efficiency projects in Europe.The fund is managed by SUSI and advised by SUSI Energy Efficiency AG. With this agreement SUSI is further strengthening its ties to the Spanish market only weeks after having completed its first energy efficiency investment in Spain, financing public lighting retrofits in Mejorada del Campo, Madrid.
