There is a piece of good news for all those people who have been eagerly waiting for Tesla to arrive in India. Elon Musk has hinted that we may see Tesla electric vehicles (EVs) running on Indian roads from 2020.
During the 2019 Hyperloop Pod Competition, organised by SpaceX on July 21, Musk had an interaction with Avishkar, the team from Indian Insitute of Technology Madras.
When asked about his plans to bring Tesla to India, Musk answered that “it is probably going to happen in a year’s time”, IANS reported.
However, this is not the first occasion when Musk has touched upon Tesla’s plan to enter India. Earlier in March, the company CEO had said in a tweet that he would love to be in India in 2019 or 2020.
