MEI Solar Delivers 19 MW Group Captive Solar Project in Gujarat Featuring GoodWe Inverters – EQ
GoodWe has supplied inverters for a 19 MW Group Captive Solar Power Project developed by Micro Engineering Industries LLP (MEI Solar) in Gujarat, continuing its commitment to delivering high-performance solutions for India’s commercial and industrial (C&I) sector.
Structured under a group captive model, the project supports multiple commercial and industrial consumers such as textile, packaging, casting, and mill industries in transitioning toward cost-efficient and sustainable energy.
Commissioned in 2025, the plant has demonstrated strong operational performance. It has achieved a peak performance of 9.2 units/kW and is operating at a Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF) of 24%, highlighting its optimized system design and effective asset utilization under western India’s climate conditions.
In January 2026 alone, the project generated over 3.25 million kWh of clean electricity, translating into monthly savings of approximately INR 18.5 million for participating industries, while maintaining output aligned with industrial demand profiles.
The installation features 75 units of GoodWe 250 kW HT inverters, engineered to utility-scale and high-load C&I applications. The solution delivers high conversion efficiency, grid stability, and long-term reliability. It supports multiple MPPT configurations, reactive power compensation, bifacial module compatibility, and advanced string-level monitoring. Optional Anti-PID and 24-hour monitoring features further enhance system reliability and contribute to a competitive levelized cost of energy (LCOE).
